Description

Reserved for Martin

This beautiful dining set was designed by Richard McCarthy and manufactured by Selrite in the 1950’s. The design  of this table and chairs is very low but is very stylish. The set has 4 iron frame chairs with ivory vinyl upholstered seats and the wood accents on the backs and armrests make this set warm and cozy as supposed to a cold iron piece. The large round dining table has an iron base and smooth wood grain Formica top. This is a well-recognized design but it is not that easy to come by so don’t miss this chance to own the real deal. This is not an imitation or reproduction. Quality mid-century pieces are becoming scarce and the value of these pieces continues to increase. Don’t hesitate; act today to make this trophy yours.

Condition of the Richard McCarthy set:

This rare set is in very good condition for its age. The table  shows some finish wear and tear and nicks. One of the chairs is missing a foot cap. Some of the seats have a few punctures but nothing too bad. Overall, an excellent dining set. Perfect for any mid century modern kitchen or any collection.

The table measures 28″ high and 42″ diameter. And the chairs are 32″ high at the backrest, 21″ arm to arm and 16 1/2″ high on the seats.
