How about this Fabulous American of Martinsville headboard with built-in nightstands. This piece is amazing! It is part of the Dania line. Take a look at the black top of the headboard and the medium tone of the walnut finish of the body. It is so timeless and functional. This headboard can be fit into a wide variety of styles. The 2 little drawers provide storage for some necessities. This beautiful MCM headboard is part of one of the 2 estates I just got from the original owners. It was bought shortly after the couple got married and it was well taken care of. Only minor wear and tear is visible.  The best description for this line is the one that the original manufacturing company gives “The perfect blend of Danish interpretation, and American inspiration to form a combination classic in its timeless appeal”.  This beautiful piece is another great example of the design inspiration of Merton L. Gershun.

Each side of the bed has the original twist-in tapered legs that can be used to stabilize the headboard. If you choose to secure the headboard to a wall or frame, the legs are not necessary and can be removed to create an eye-pleasing, floating appearance.
