Description
This beautiful and interesting pair of oval end tables come to you probably a little bit earlier than the MCM period. Their style reminds me of the designs of Gilbert Rohde, Robsjohn Gibbings, and Paul Frankl. Even though they are not signed or dated I estimate they are probably ’30s-’40s.
They come with an oval body, they have brass round feet and what is supposed to be a brass finished grid on each side. These grids are made of plastic and they can use some new paint/finish. They are supposed to have a planter in the first tier, I imagine the original containers are long gone but the previous owner replaced them with the current ones, that do the job just fine. The glass pieces have no chips or broken pieces but they do show some minor scratches.
The tables are in good structural condition but could use some restoration. Signs of their old life are visible but they still have a lot of life to give. And are ready to belong to you.
