Description

This beautiful and interesting round coffee table comes to you probably from a period a little bit earlier than the MCM period. The style reminds me of the designs of Gilbert Rohde, Robsjohn Gibbings, and Paul Frankl. Even though they are not signed or dated I estimate it is probably ’30s-’40s.

The round body is actually pretty heavy, it has brass round feet and what is supposed to be a brass finished grid on each side. These grids are made of plastic and they can use some new paint/finish. It is supposed to have a planter in the first tier, visible from the top of the glass, I imagine the original container is long gone but I am sure it won’t be difficult to find a replacement. The glass piece has no chips or broken pieces but it does show some scratches.

The tables are in good structural condition but could use some restoration. Signs of their old life are visible but they still have a lot of life to give. And are ready to belong to you.
