About 15 years ago, I had one of these exact chairs in a canary yellow velvet with crisp white piping — it was a showstopper in its own right, and I’ve been keeping an eye out for another one ever since. I hadn’t come across a single one since, until this purple velvet version turned up. That silhouette is unmistakable once you’ve owned one, and it’s just as striking in this deep jewel tone.
Condition: Vintage velvet is faded in some areas and it has a couple of spots with paint stains, the most prominent being on the back. Tufting intact throughout gives it, its personality.
Measurements: 16″ seat height, 32″ arm to arm, 48″ backrest height, 21″ armrest height.
A chair with this much personality is a rare find — this one will move quickly.
