Check out this vintage hide art. When I first saw it I thought it was just a painting but then I realized it was done by burning the hide of whatever animal this is. By the size, I would say cow or horse but since I am no expert and I have no idea how to identify the type of hide I’ll leave it at hide of some sort.
The pattern is so cool and it would be a great addition to any place. Especially if you are blending MCM with desert style or southwest style.
This beautiful piece of art measures 56″ wide by 48″ tall. As you can see the lower right corner is curling up a bit and it is fragile but the piece even though delicate deserves to be appreciated and hung in a beautiful wall. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention that the rod is bamboo painted black.
