Solair Round Orange Chairs

Description

This great pair of chairs are made of plastic, the legs are iron and they are very sturdy and solid. Also, comfortable to spend an afternoon outside or on your porch. They are in great vintage condition, probably a good cleaning wouldn’t be a bad idea. One of them has a couple of clean cuts on the back rest nothing that will affect too much but if you would prefer it could be easily glued.  Very normal wear for their age.

We have seen Solair Chairs before, but didn’t know much about them. They were originally designed by Fabio Fabiano and Michelange Panzini in Montreal in 1972 as you can see on the identification on the back. They become a popular choice for motels and as a pool side chair. Now you can get reproductions. They measure 29” high, 28” diameter and 14” from the floor to the seat.
