Original 1950’s Mid Century Modern Convertible serving cart by Brown Saltman of California.  This high style cart becomes a table when you pull the large knob on the lower end of the cart. The two table tops, each 18” by 30”, meet and match up to make a 36” by 30” table.  The two tops are connected at the top of the table by a rod that is pushed into and out place with the large bottom knob.  It looks like the cart finish has been refinished / restored.  The photos show minor scuffs near the swinging mechanism and the bottom of the cart.  The cart shows normal wear for its age. Please see the photos.   The cart is 26” tall and measures 32 ¼ “from handle to handle.  Each table section, before raising, is 18” by 30”. Full table when raised measures 36” by 30”.  Large Brass pull measures 2 ¼”.  This is really a nice and different piece.  It compliments blond furniture from the period as well as looks great on its own.
