Heywood Wakefield “RARE” M 389 W Desk / Chest 1952-54           Rare, handsome and practical, this Heywood Wakefield M389W desk has been restored to its original beauty using the correct HW Champagne stain.  The only blemish you will find is a small 1” chip located in the rear of one leg.  The nick is shown in the photographs.  And as you can see by all the photos, everything else is near perfect.  The top measures 30” long by 13” wide.  The height is 42”.  The shelving has the option of being removed if you choose.  When the desk top is closed it looks like a drawer. Because of its size this piece it will fit nicely and look sharp in any room and in any living environment.
